Tatyana's Day

Probably one of the least amazing of them is Tatyana's day or student's day, the name comes from Saint Tatiana. And though starting in Moscow, it has spread arround other universities. 

 

This holiday conmemorate the foundation of the Moscow State University and comes the 12th of January Julian, 25th of January in gregorian calendar.

This day start with the church of the university tradicional service follow by some speeches and awarding of prizes. The rest of the day, the students go into parties or public events to enjoy the day.
